A Mays Landing man has been sentenced to three years in state prison after pleading guilty to a drug distribution charge, authorities said.

Antoyane McCall, 26, was sentenced March 3 after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.

According to authorities, Atlantic City police observed McCall on March 19, 2025, reaching into a plastic bag and attempting to remove an unknown substance while an older woman held out cash toward him.

When McCall noticed police lights, he placed the bag back into his satchel and began walking away. Detectives, wearing vests with visible badges, attempted to stop him, but he fled on foot before surrendering after a brief pursuit, police said.

Authorities said McCall was found in possession of a digital scale with drug residue; heroin and fentanyl packaged for distribution; cash; and a plastic bag containing cocaine.
