Police say three people were shot during a Father's Day cookout.
The shooting happened Sunday night at Mercer Park on the border of Jersey City and Bayonne.
Police have not released the names of the victims, who were taken to a hospital. Two of the victims injured were teenagers. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Witnesses say they initially thought they heard firecrackers, but soon realized the sounds were actually gunshots.
No arrests have been made.
