Asbury Park sold out 6,000 seasonal badges in 30 minutes. Ocean Grove and Bradley Beach sold out as well before noon the next day.

The rush to buy badges caught all the towns off guard, but if safety conditions allow it, they could make additional season badges available. Badges had been on sale since November.
