A new Chick-fil-A is now open in White Plains, expanding the fast-food chain’s footprint in Westchester County.
The restaurant opened at 6:30 a.m. Thursday and is preparing for a large turnout.
It is Chick-fil-A’s third full-size location in Westchester, joining restaurants in Yonkers and Scarsdale. The chain also has a location at the Ardsley Thruway rest stop.
The White Plains restaurant is owned and operated by a former public relations professional with the New York Yankees.
Customers who wear cow spots can receive a free entrée or kid’s meal as part of a “Moove-In Party.” The offer is available inside the restaurant and at the drive-thru.
The opening could also bring additional traffic during the morning commute. The area is typically busy during rush hour, and the Yonkers location experienced congestion for weeks after it opened.
