Two children were hit by a vehicle that then took off, Norwalk police say.
It happened around 10 a.m. Tuesday on Cross Street near the intersection with Wilton Avenue.
A witness told News 12 that a car ran a red light and hit two kids, but not the adult who was with them, while they were in the crosswalk.
They also said the driver stopped and looked as if they were getting out but instead drove off.
Police say the children were not significantly injured.
