An Ossining resident is facing unlawful surveillance charges for watching a woman through her bathroom window, according to police.
New Castle detectives launched an investigation after they received reports of a male repeatedly looking at the woman inside her home during the early morning hours.
Police say they established surveillance around the residence and caught 50-year-old Juan Guambana in the act on Thursday.
Authorities took him into custody at the scene. Police say he is a stranger to the victim.
Guambana was arraigned at Town of New Castle Justice Court that same day.
Police say he was later released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court on Nov. 5.
