Police released images of the man they say slashed two teenage boys aboard a Bx42 bus in Tremont.
The attack happened just before 3 p.m. on July 22 while the bus was near Park Avenue and East 180th Street.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was slashed in the face and a 16-year-old boy suffered a slash wound to the arm.
Paramedics took the teens to St. Barnabas Hospital. They are both expected to recover, according to the NYPD.
The alleged attacker took off running after the incident. Police say he has short black hair and was last seen wearing a white shirt and a black jacket.
