The suspected drug dealer involved in a shooting that injured a baby girl in 2022 is appearing in court.
Police say that Samuel Bautista and another suspect, Ahmed Altorei, were drug dealers involved in a shootout with a rival group on the Grand Concourse and East 198th St. One of the bullets hit an 11-month-old baby in the face while she was sitting in a car with her mother. Fortunately, the baby survived.
Bautista is facing several charges including narcotics conspiracy and using or carrying a firearm during and in relations to a drug trafficking crime.
