Motorcyclist ejected, seriously injured in South Huntington crash

Suffolk police say the motorcyclist was driving eastbound on Old Country Road when a car attempting to turn left on to Wolf Hill Road hit him.

A collision involving a motorcycle and a car left two people hurt Friday afternoon in South Huntington.

Suffolk police say the motorcyclist was driving eastbound on Old Country Road when a car attempting to turn left on to Wolf Hill Road hit him around 3:30 p.m.

The 21-year-old was ejected from his motorcycle and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip with serious injuries.

The driver of the car was hospitalized with minor injuries, according to authorities.
