A bill that passed the Connecticut House of Representatives Thursday could allow dentists to offer Botox and other facial fillers to their patients.
Dentists say they already have the training to offer the services. Some dental assistants oppose the bill though because they feel that they do not have enough proper training.
Three dozen other states currently allow dentists to inject cosmetic fillers.
The bill now heads to the Senate.
