April 2 is World Autism Acceptance Day, and to celebrate, Stamford Education 4 Autism (SE4A) held an event at Stamford Government Center.

There were guest speakers and performers to raise acceptance and awareness throughout April.

The nonprofit is all about pushing forward every day in schools and in the community.

SE4A's gift shop, Just A Peace, is located over on Hope Street in Stamford and gives opportunities to individuals on the autism spectrum. Individuals can practice their social and life skills there.
