A teenager was arrested after a loaded gun was found during a traffic stop Tuesday in Rockland County.
The car was pulled over near Route 9W and Westside Avenue in Haverstraw.
Detectives said a passenger in the car, identified as 18‑year‑old Treyvon Montgomery, was carrying the firearm.
An investigation revealed the gun had been reported stolen from another state last year.
Montgomery was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and possession of stolen property.
