The kickoff to the 2026 FIFA World Cup is officially underway.

In just one year, Liberty State Park in Jersey City will be the central hub for all things World Cup, as it welcomes tens of thousands of fans during the 39-day tournament.

Officials kicked off the celebration with a look at what fans can expect at the FIFA Fan Festival New York, New Jersey.

More than 100 games will be broadcast on over a dozen screens, with tons of activities for fans to take part in. On non-game days, Live Nation will even host concerts in the park.

People can also expect to be part of the Skyline to Shore Road Tour.

"Even if you aren't going to be one of the lucky 80,000 people at MetLife Stadium, there's still an incredible way to experience and be part of what the World Cup has to offer,” said Alex Lasry, the CEO of the NYNJ Host Committee for the FIFA World Cup. “As the governor said, there is only eight matches at MetLife. We wanna show people a way that they can be a part of the World Cup for all 106 matches that are going on.”

The final will be played at MetLife Stadium.

Games from the FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
