A fire broke out at a two-story home on Westwood Drive in West Orange a little before 5 a.m.
Three women were taken to the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Chinwe Obi was later pronounced dead, while her mom and sister were treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
