On Tuesday, News 12 is honoring the memory of one who just died last week at 100 years old.
Angelo Sciacci, of Brick, was a U.S. Army veteran who served as a private first-class during World War II.
Sciacci helped build runways on Pacific Islands during the war. Last October, he celebrated his 100th birthday at home, where he shared his experiences of what he witnessed during his service.
Sciacci was laid to rest with full military honors in Totowa.
