A mother and father in Lakewood have been charged with murder in the death of their 3-month-old daughter.
Ruben Santiago and Caitlin Gibson are now facing charges.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says the child was found unresponsive and not breathing at a house on Pinehurst Drive on Tuesday.
An autopsy found that the infant died of blunt force trauma to the head, resulting in fractures and bleeding.
Santiago and Gibson were both charged with murder. They are being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a hearing.
