A man was arrested Friday evening after allegedly assaulting a young girl at Bergen Town Center Mall.
David Cohen, 49, of Palisades Park, faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault, according to police.
Witnesses reported Cohen struck and head-butted the girl while yelling, "I hope you die," authorities said. The incident occurred around 6:44 p.m., officials noted.
Cohen was taken into custody at the scene, police confirmed.
