“It’s that time of the year,” one resident said. “It’s supposed to [snow].”
“I hope it stays up north,” said another. “No snow down here in Middlesex County, please.”
The one-two punch of plowable snow and extreme cold not seen in years prompted Gov. Phil Murphy's office to issue a state of emergency for Sunday, starting at 8 a.m.
