Michael Horran, a North Carolina police officer, was shot and killed in Greensboro while investigating a suspicious person.
Horran was a father and served with the Beach Haven Beach Patrol for 22 years, from 1995 through 2017.
Horran is being remembered by loved ones for his kind spirit and service.
