A former Hoboken official has pleaded guilty to embezzling money from the city, according to the district attorney’s office.
Pantaleo Pellegrini was the Director of Health and Human Services and Director of the Department of Environmental Services.
Authorities say he used city money to fund business accounts in his name.
He faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced in April.
