Temperatures are cooler but a frontal boundary is draped across the state that will be the trigger for scattered storms.

Drenching downpours, lightning and gusty winds will be the primary threat. Lingering storms could continue through the very early morning hours. Otherwise, the weather will be slowly improving throughout the day on Wednesday.

TONIGHT: Scattered storms until 11 p.m. then maybe a leftover shower. Otherwise, cloudy and foggy with lows in the mid-50s.
