Looking for last minute Valentine’s Day gifts? Here are some ideas

If you haven't picked up flowers or chocolates yet for Valentine's Day, you still have some time.

This year, over 45% of people will spend at least $50 on a gift for their loved one, according to WalletHub.

The personal finance company says the average person will spend $185 to celebrate. And most people are gifting chocolate this year.

WalletHub also says 76% are expecting to receive a gift today.

  • 57% say they are buying chocolate.

  • 40% will give a good old fashion greeting card.

  • Around 20% are giving either gift cards, clothing or jewelry.

  • 39% are buying flowers.

At Ramsey Florist, they say they are making sure Valentines receive their flowers today.

“We have a lot of deliveries going out. Thankfully this weather is great today with the snow and everything. But the busiest day is Mother’s Day. Cause everyone has a mother, not everyone has a Valentine,” said Ramsey florist Matt Orzechowski.

How about making a stop at The Paper Store? They seem to have it all. They have Nora Fleming, Kendra Scott jewelry, Bogg Bags, Stanley’s, candy and a spa section.
