The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control on Thursday announced it has extended the Temporary Authorization Permit for breweries until Jan. 16.

It was set to expire on Jan. 1 after state lawmakers lifted restrictions on food and entertainment.

State officials passed a bill to reverse a lot of those restrictions but was vetoed by Gov. Phil Murphy last month.

Murphy wants sweeping changes to the industry included in the bill.
