Funeral plans set for Warren teen killed in Thanksgiving stabbing in Manhattan

Funeral arrangements have been made for a 17-year-old from Warren who was fatally stabbed in Manhattan on Thanksgiving morning.

A visitation for Rocco Roddone will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Stirling. A funeral Mass will also be held at the church Thursday at 10 a.m.

Rocco, a junior at Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, was fatally stabbed in the torso Thursday along Lafayette Street just before 2 a.m. A 19-year-old was also injured in the attack. It was not immediately clear what led up to the violence.

Gianluca Bordone, 19, was arrested and is expected in court Wednesday.
