A Brick Township man is facing charges after he was caught on a home security camera allegedly breaking into an apartment.

Joshua Guarino was seen inside one of the Kentwood Village Apartments in Brick Township. The tenant was not home at the time but saw someone inside their unit on the security video and called the police.

When officers arrived, they said Guarino ran from the building. He was arrested on Route 70. Officials say he was in possession of some items belonging to the tenant.

Guarino faces multiple charges, including burglary and theft.

Police say they believe Guarino is responsible for breaking into multiple other apartments.
