Police are searching for a man they say stole $4,000 worth of power tools from a car in Newark on Wednesday.
Around midnight, police say the suspect was captured on surveillance video climbing over the fence of a garage located at 9 Clark St.
Officials say the thief pulled on the doors of several cars until one opened. They say a laptop was also stolen.
