Hundreds of tenants were forced out nearly three months ago at condemned apartments in Plainfield.
Now, the city of Plainfield plans to appeal a loss in court. The decision comes to not appoint a rent receiver to oversee repairs.
The city says cyclone investments hired contractors but have since ditched the job because of payment disputes.
