Plainfield officials find new housing for 38 families of condemned building

Plainfield officials say they have assisted 38 families in finding new housing after they were forced to leave a condemned apartment building.
Officials say that 73 families reached out for help after the buildings on West Seventh Street and Kensington Avenue were condemned.
Officials say seven families remain in temporary hotel accommodations and 28 families are staying with family members until they find another apartment.
Plainfield Mayor Adrian Mapp announced on Tuesday that he has filed a lawsuit against Cyclone Investment, the company that owns the buildings.
