NJ Dept. of Labor recoups more than $630K in unpaid wages Boston Market workers
More than 20 Boston Market locations in New Jersey were shut down for not paying the employees.

The New Jersey Department of Labor says it has successfully recouped hundreds of thousands of dollars in back wages for more than 300 Boston Market employees.
The department says that more than $630,000 will be paid to 314 Boston Market workers.
This comes after 27 Boston Market locations in New Jersey were shut down for not paying the employees.
“We’re glad this investigation resulted in every dollar making it into the pockets of those who earned the money. Hopefully this action puts other bad actors on notice: ‘If you don't pay your workers, we will shut you down,’” state Labor Commissioner Robert Asaro-Angelo wrote in a statement.
The Boston Market locations that were shut down are now allowed to reopen.
