An escaped "peeping goat" has been captured after evading authorities for weeks in Chatham.

The animal got loose from a meatpacker several weeks ago, and evaded multiple attempts by police to trap it.

On Monday, members of a construction crew working on Noe Avenue spotted the loose animal.

They managed to wrangle it after a woman nearby lured it out with some food.
