Police say a 2-year-old girl is recovering after she was hit by a car in Trenton Monday night.
Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck 2-year-old Nashalee Martinez and fled the scene at the intersection of East State Street and Garfield Avenue around 5:30 p.m.
According to witnesses, a white pickup truck came around the corner, struck Nashalee and kept going. Nashalee was bruised and scratched and taken to the hospital.
Nashalee?s family and local police ask that anyone with information please come forward and call the Trenton Police Department at 609-989-3663.
