A mother is under investigation after her 2-year-old daughter was found wandering the streets of Newark.
The child was discovered barefoot walking around wearing only a diaper and a dress along Stuyvesant Avenue.
A man driving an SUV spotted the little girl and stopped.
The little girl was taken to the hospital, but was not injured.
Police are still trying to determine why the child was unattended.
