Two people were wounded Monday in a police-involved shooting.
Police say the shooting occurred at around 2 a.m. at Liberty Avenue and Clark Street. Sources tell News 12 New Jersey shots were fired after two Hillside officers pulled over a car near the intersection.
One of the injured has been identified as 25-year-old Fuquan Stribling, who was released from prison in 2008. He was taken to University Hospital in Newark and is listed in critical but stable condition.
The other person's condition and identity remain unknown. No officers were injured in the shooting.
