A community is in mourning after two people were killed over the weekend in a car crash in Marlboro.
Jonathan Ochoa, 20, of Manalapan and an 18-year-old woman from Marlboro died from injuries they sustained when their Honda Accord ran off the road Saturday at around 1 a.m. The car then struck a tree.
A memorial has been set up by friends and family on the side of Tennant Road near Duncan Road, the scene of the accident. Friends and family gathered there Monday to pay their respects.
"He was always a good kid, always had a smile on his face, making others smile. He was a good guy," says Clayton Kahn, a friend of Ochoa's.
Officials are still investigating what caused the crash.
