The first segment of this year's bear hunt is set to wrap up Saturday.
Fewer bears have been killed this year due to less available land on which to hunt, according to officials.
So far during this year's hunt, 84 bears have been killed, with a dozen killed Friday.
That's about half as many as last year.
Gov. Phil Murphy has banned hunting on all state lands this year, eliminating 40 percent of the old hunting grounds.
