A 15-year-old boy from the Whiting section of Manchester Township is still missing after leaving home on Aug. 24.

Manchester Township police say that there was some misinformation that Joseph Johnson had been found, but this is not the case.

Johnson was last seen on Sunday around 1 p.m. in the area of Laurel Place. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, white and blue sneakers and a black backpack.

Police believed Johnson was possibly on foot and in Toms River.

Police are asking anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts to call them at 732-657-6111.
