A 12-year-old boy is in the hospital after being shot in Mount Hope. 
According to police, the young victim was an innocent bystander, caught in the crossfire after the gunman got into a dispute with a group of men. 
It all happened on East Tremont Avenue at around 9 p.m. Tuesday. 
Authorities say they're looking for a black man in his 20s with dreadlocks, and who was wearing a colorful shirt at the time of the shooting. 
The boy was hit in the back of his thigh. He's in stable condition at St. Barnabas Hospital, and is expected to be OK.
