The Essex County Sheriff is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of a Newark grandmother. Police are looking for two young men.

offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for
the murder
of a Newark grandmother.
Police are looking for two
young men.
According to police, Debra
Derrick, 63, was fatally shot on her front porch back on March 11 around 8 p.m.
in the 200 block of Leigh Avenue.
Police say Derrick
was with her family to release balloons celebrating her birthday and the birthday of her late twin sister when the
shooting occurred. Derrick was shot and
ultimately died from her injuries.
