Police say a woman was killed in an overnight house fire in Blairstown.
The fire broke out at around 9 p.m. Wednesday in a home on Route 94.
Authorities say a 42-year-old female was taken to Newton Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The fire was brought under control in an hour and units cleared the scene just after midnight.
Police have not yet identified the woman.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
