The West Orange community is on high alert following a shooting that left one man dead Sunday afternoon.

According to Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, officials responded to reports of a shooting around noon on the 100th block of Lakewood Avenue where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released yet.

No arrests have been made.
