Authorities say one person is under arrest following a police chase that apparently spanned two states.
Police say they began chasing 45-year-old David Campos at around 9:45 a.m. Monday in New York and headed toward New Jersey.
Palisades Interstate Parkway police say Campos was wanted in Troy, New York in connection to a homicide earlier Monday morning.
State police from New York and New Jersey, along with Palisades Interstate Parkway police, were able to catch Campos at around 10:00 a.m. near the Interchange 16E toll plaza on the New Jersey Turnpike in Secaucus. Police say the suspect hit speeds of 90 mph throughout the chase and traveled against the flow of traffic.
Campos was taken back to the Palisades Interstate Parkway headquarters in New Jersey for processing.
