New Jersey native and World Cup champion Carli Lloyd says she thinks she will return to defend the United States' title in four years.
The Delran native who scored three goals in the United States' victory over Japan in the Women's World Cup final said on CBS Monday she feels good and expects to play again in 2019.
The 32-year-old added that she'll take one year at a time.
Lloyd says she believes the team's legacy will be that dreams are achievable through hard work.
Lloyd is one of four New Jersey natives on the U.S. team that won a third World Cup victory.
Christie Rampone is from Point Pleasant, Heather O'Reilly hails from East Brunswick and Tobin Heath comes from Basking Ridge.
