Relatives say a woman and her daughter were killed in an overnight house fire in Manville.
The fire broke out just before 5 a.m. in a home on Harrison Avenue.
A relative told News 12 New Jersey his aunt and cousin were the individuals killed in the blaze. Neighbors say a woman in her 70s and her middle-aged daughter lived in the home.
A spokesperson for the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed the bodies of two women have been recovered from the home.
They are awaiting positive identification by the Medical Examiner's Office.
