Wintry mix creates icy conditions in Mercer County

Several cars spun into the guardrails because of icy road conditions.

Snow turned into freezing rain in parts of New Jersey Tuesday morning. The Jersey Shore saw between 2 and 3 inches of snow, but it quickly turned into slush as the temperatures rose well above freezing.
News 12 New Jersey's Jim Murdoch drove through a variety of weather conditions from Wall to Pennington where slippery roads created a dangerous commute for drivers in Mercer County. Several cars spun into the guardrails because of icy roads.
