Most of the week looks great for travelers, but there are two disturbances that could interrupt plans for the Holiday week. We are timing out the details.
The Thanksgiving storm is trending weaker and warmer. It may clear for Friday. Still some uncertainty, we should know more tomorrow.
Also, next weekend is trending much colder. It will truly feel like winter.
It's Thanksgiving week, and although we're off to a good start, there will be a few travel troubles to look out for. Today, the biggest issue will once again be the wind. It's not as breezy as Saturday, but gusts could reach 30 mph this afternoon. Temperatures will reach the 50s with more sun in the morning than the afternoon.
Monday is the pick of the week. Light wind, plenty of sun, and highs will be in the mid 50s. There will be light showers overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning, but the rain will clear Tuesday afternoon and travel impacts will be minor. There are also no issues expected on Wednesday, but temperatures will be cooler.
Thanksgiving Day will likely feature some rain, but we can totally rule out the risk for wintry mix in cooler neighborhoods toward the evening or Friday. Model guidance has backed down a bit on the storm for Thanksgiving compared to yesterday's forecast. Friday also looks to clear out faster than anticipated, but there's a forecast trend you might not like for next weekend... the cold! Temperatures will drop into the 20s during the morning time by next weekend.
