The dome of delight was in full control of Monday's weather. There was not a cloud in the sky. There was a gentle breeze and the air, while technically cooler than normal, felt wonderful. It was a picture-perfect spring afternoon.
Skies will continue to be clear tonight. The winds will be gentle. This will allow for nighttime lows to drop back into the mid 40s. A few degrees cooler than average for this time of year. This is the trend temperature-wise this week. Temperatures are pleasant but slightly cooler than average.
Tuesday looks nice for the first part of the day. Fair weather will be slowly drifting away from New Jersey and further into the ocean. This will introduce a more oceanic breeze to the forecast, keep temps cool-ish and allow some clouds to slowly collect. Daily highs on Tuesday will be in the low to mid-60s
Rain develops late on Wednesday. A good soaking rain is expected. This is great news. It helps the growing drought situation and the weather doesn't look like it is going to be too impactful on either the evening or morning commutes.
