A hazy sky enveloped the tri-state area Tuesday afternoon, due to wildfire smoke from the southern U.S. in Louisiana and Mississippi.
New 12 New Jersey’s Lauren Due spoke to several residents to see how they’re feeling about the haze across the state.
Hoboken resident Matt Greenlaw says, "I think it's pretty concerning but it's still a beautiful day out, so I want to walk outside and get some steps."
Gillian Lee says, "I remember it very clearly when it happened over the summer. I remember leaving my apartment to look at the skyline actually and we took a picture of it because it was it was just so orange. But I didn't know that it was hazy today so I was literally saying I was going to go for a run, so maybe I'll rethink that."
