PSE&G crews are out and about Friday returning service to those who lost it, but officials want to keep customers in the know with more wind and frigid temps to come.
PSE&G says there were only about 3,000 outages at its morning peak in New Jersey, with officials saying their infrastructure “stood up” to the morning portion of the storm.
Officials said those who may suffer outages should always report it — do not assume that it is already known to the company. Those who lose power can report it to PSE&G through their mobile app, on their website or call them at 1 (800) 436-7734.
Officials also denoted that the heavy winds coming with Friday’s storm could affect returning power to those suffering outages, saying that when winds hit around 45 mph, it isn’t safe for workers to use bucket trucks.
