Those playing the lottery have two chances to become a millionaire — or even a billionaire.

The Powerball jackpot is up to $800 million, and Mega Millions has skyrocketed over $1.1 billion.

News 12’s Lauren Due talked to elementary school kids in Nutley to find out what they would do if they won the big jackpot.

One animal lover said he would buy 10 dogs and a house with a pool in it. Another student said she would donate her winnings to an animal shelter.

Tonight’s Powerball drawing is at 10:59 p.m. The Mega Millions is Tuesday at 11 p.m.
