TUESDAY: Sunny and nice. Highs near 72. Lows down to 55.

WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and cooling down again. Highs in the
upper 60s. Lows in the mid-50s.

Storms taper off, mostly sunny Monday in New York City

Let's bring back storm Watch team Meteorologist Alan knows if Alan, when is that rain gonna come on through to the city over the next couple of hours Faith So have your umbrellas handy, especially between now and about 10 p.m. Maybe stretching to 11 because the trend has been a little bit later with some of the storms across central pennsylvania as I showed you a few minutes ago, could also cause a bit of a rain delay for the Yankee game. So definitely want to keep that in mind and be prepared if you're heading out to the game. But after 10 or 11 were pretty much dry through the rest of the overnight, the winds will then pick up into the start of the work week. So monday morning, right around 10 mile an hour gusts increasing to 20 to 25 mile an hour gusts at noon, looking at 22 mile an hour gusts out towards Riverdale and right around four o'clock, 26 mile an hour gusts towards Pelham Gardens, 25 mile an hour gusts out towards throgs neck. So it's gonna be a bit of a breezy day. So those seventies will feel more like upper sixties to near 70 during the afternoon, but at least will be a dry and a sunny experience out there for the most. There is a slight opportunity, a little lingering energy during the afternoon and evening notice the future cast kind of popping up a couple of these showers out there. So there's a minor chance of a few of those showers, but I think that chance is fairly low for tomorrow looking at the tropics because again, things are very active out there. And our main story is tropical storm ian we're seeing those 45 mile an hour winds right now, but that rapid intensification begins tonight into a Cat three, possibly Cat Four hurricane during the western tip of CuBA. And then there is still some uncertainty. And we're gonna put up our latest two computer models, the GFS, and read the european and blue, and they've gotten closer together. But still the window of landfalls anywhere from about Tampa to Tallahassee. That's still a significant spread and the ensemble's kind of show that same difference beyond then there is the potential of some of those remnant showers in our direction heading towards next saturday and sunday.
